Yang’an Second Railway (the second line of Yangpingguan to Ankang Railway) is a key railway construction project in China and Shaanxi Province. It is located at the southern foot of Qinling Mountains in my country. It leads from Yangpingguan Station of Baocheng Railway and runs along the Han River Valley through Mian County to Hanzhong Basin. , passing Xixiang, Shiquan, along the Yuehe River Valley, passing through Hanyin to Ankang Station, with a total length of 329.87 km.
The Yang’an Second Railway was started construction in July 2015. It is a national I-level electrified railway with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour and a planned annual transportation capacity of more than 120 million tons, which will exceed 160 million tons in the long run. After the completion of the whole line, 29 new stations will be opened, which is of great significance to improving the transportation capacity of Yang’an Railway and promoting the economic development of southern Shaanxi.
The topography and landforms along the route vary greatly, and the geological conditions are extremely complex. There are 71 tunnels and 174 bridges on the whole line. The total length of bridges and tunnels is 148.321 km, and the proportion of bridges and tunnels is as high as 45%. Among them, there are 3 extra-long tunnels with a length of more than 5 kilometers, 3 grade I high-risk tunnels, and as many as controlled projects. 47 places.
