Hulunbuir Northeast Fufeng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in May 2010 and is located in Hulunbuir Lingdong Industrial Development Zone, Inner Mongolia. It is a large-scale amino acid production aircraft carrier base invested and constructed by Fufeng Group in Zhalantun. The company’s main products and annual output are glutamic acid, monosodium glutamate, starch, starch sugar, threonine, lysine, compound fertilizer, etc.
In 2024, the Hulunbuir Northeast Fufeng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Harbin Railway Gas) special line reconstruction and expansion project plans to reconstruct and expand the railway length to 6.144km, all within the factory. In Area I of Fufeng Inland Station, part of the choke area at the west end will be moved westward, and Line I-4 will be added; a cross-over line will be added in the choke area at the east end and some switches will be added or moved. In the station area II of the Fufeng factory, the throat area at the west end was renovated, connected to the new station line, and new cargo lines II-4, II-5, II-6, II-7, and II-8 were built. Line II-4 is a buckle line, a new set of switches is added to the east end throat, and other newly built cargo lines are all terminal lines.
