M24 Segment Tunnel Bolts for Foshan Metro Line 3
In 2018, Anyang Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. provided a total of 145,200 sets of M24 segment tunnel bolts to Foshan Metro Line 3.
Foshan Metro Line 3 is a line under construction in Foshan Metro. It belongs to urban rail transit. It is positioned as a backbone express line in the north-south direction of Foshan. Foshan Metro Line 3 is expected to be put into trial operation by the end of 2022 and will be operational in June 2023.
Foshan Metro refers to the urban rail transit system serving Foshan City and Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. Foshan became the thirteenth city in mainland China to open rail transit.
According to the official website of Foshan Metro in January 2022, there are 3 lines (sections) under construction in Foshan Metro, including Foshan Metro Line 3, Line 4 Phase I, and Guangzhou Metro Line 7 West Extension (Shunde Section). In addition, there are 2 lines to be built, which are the second phase of Foshan Metro Line 2 and Line 11.
The total length of Foshan Metro Line 3 is about 69.5 km, with a total of 37 stations, including 3 elevated stations, 34 underground stations, 13 transfer stations, 7.2 km in the elevated section, 1.4 km in the transition section, and 61 km in the underground section, with an average station spacing of 1.84 km.

- The segment connection bolts are made of 45#steel, and the surface of the bolts is treated with zinc chrome coating to prevent rust. The zinc chrome coating meets the requirements of “Specifications ofZinc/Chromate Coatings” (GB/T18684-2002), and the protection level is not lower than 9 after the 480h neutral salt spray test. The mechanical properties of the ring tunnel bolts are grade 5.8.
- The mechanical properties of the circumferential bolts and nuts and the longitudinal bolts and nuts are both grade 5.
- The flat washer and nut are made of 45# steel, and the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the material meet the requirements of GB/T 699.
