Type I and Type II Rail Fastening Systems Supplier for Hami East Station Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project
In 2025, Anyang Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. supplied 106,832 sets of Type I elastic rail fasteners and 139,303 sets of Type II Rail Fastening Systems to the Hami East Station capacity expansion and renovation project.
The Hami East Railway Station Expansion and Renovation Project, located at No. 5 Qianjin East Road, Yizhou District, Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, represents a large-scale project with a total investment of approximately 1.84 billion yuan. The project will renovate Hami East Station into a hybrid three-level, six-yard system, constructing a new downline system including arrival yards, shunting yards, and departure yards, expanding the station maintenance depot, and building a new integrated automation system. In addition, it will renovate 7.13 km of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway downline, 0.96 km of the Linhe-Hami Railway downline connecting line, and 0.81 km of the Hami downline connecting line. The project is scheduled to commence on May 10, 2025, and be completed on November 10, 2026, with a construction period of 1.5 years.
Hami East Station is the largest network-type marshalling yard in eastern Xinjiang, undertaking the marshalling of freight trains on trunk lines such as the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway and the Linhe-Hami Railway. This capacity expansion and renovation project aims to improve the turnaround efficiency of trains entering and leaving Xinjiang, alleviate regional transport capacity shortages, enhance the coal transportation capacity of the Linhe-Hami Railway and the comprehensive transport capacity of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway, and provide strong support for Xinjiang’s economic and social development and national energy supply.
In 2025, Anyang Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. supplied 106,832 sets of Type I elastic rail fasteners (TB/T1495-2020, rail pads and baffle seats for extremely cold regions, 50kg/m rails) and 139,303 sets of Type II Rail Fastening Systems (TB/T3065-2020, rail pads and insulators for extremely cold regions, 60kg/m rails) to the Hami East Station capacity expansion and renovation project.
