Changsha Rail Transit Line 5 is the 4th completed and operated subway line of Changsha Rail Transit. The first phase of the line started on November 29, 2015, and was put into trial operation on December 30, 2019, and started for trial operation on June 28, 2020.
The total length of the first phase of Changsha Rail Transit Line 5 is 22.5 km and a total of 18 stations, all of which are underground stations, including 3 transfer stations.
