Shijiazhuang Metro is an urban rail transit system serving Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, China. Its first line opened for trial operation on June 26, 2017, making Shijiazhuang the 31st city in mainland China and the first in Hebei Province to have rail transit.
As of December 2024, Shijiazhuang Metro has three operational lines: Line 1, Phases 1 and 2, Line 2, Phase 1, and Line 3, with a total operating mileage of approximately 74.28 kilometers and 60 stations. Four lines are under construction: the northern section of Line 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3, Line 4, Phase 1, Line 5, and Line 6.
Shijiazhuang Metro Line 1 is the first operational metro line in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, China. Phase 1 opened on June 26, 2017. In February 2024, the Phase III project of Shijiazhuang Metro Line 1, comprising two stations, had entered the main construction phase at Shangzhuang Station. In September, the tunnel jacking section between Shafts 3 and 4 at Huaian Road Station on the Phase III project of Shijiazhuang Metro Line 1 was successfully penetrated.
