China Railway Wuhan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. is one of the 18 railway bureau group companies managed by China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., referred to as “Wuju Bureau”. Founded on May 18, 2005, it is a newly established railway bureau during the reform of the system of direct management of stations and sections of the whole railway implementation bureau. It is located in the middle of the national railway network and the geographical center, and has jurisdiction over the whole of Hubei Province, southern Henan Province and Anhui Province. Railways in some areas are important hubs of national railways and an important part of the comprehensive transportation system in central China and the Yangtze River city cluster.

China Railway Wuhan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has a total of 89 lines under the jurisdiction, including Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway, Shanghai-Chengdu passenger train (Hewu + Hanyi), Wujiu passenger train and 6 high-speed railways including Wuxian, Wugang and Wuxiao Intercity. There are 9 existing general-speed trunk lines, as well as 74 branch lines and contact lines, in Guangzhou, Jingjiu, Yiwan, Jiaoliu, Wujiu, Handan, Xiangyu, Ningxi, and Luofu. The total operating mileage of the line is 5075.544 km, the total extension length of the line is 11883.2 km, and the main line extension length is 9074.448 km.

According to the unified deployment of China Railway Corporation and Wuhan Railway Bureau, in 2017, Wuhan Railway Bureau launched the line overhaul and track change plan. Anyang Railway Co., Ltd. provided 6# and 10# anti-corrosion gauge baffle plates for the project, with a total of 1.1 million pieces.
