The Dapeng Branch Line of the Shenzhen-Huizhou Intercity Railway, abbreviated as Longda Intercity, is an important component of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area intercity railway network plan. It serves as an intercity, suburban passenger transport line, and a tourism express line for eastern Shenzhen, acting as a vital transportation artery to improve tourism and development in eastern Shenzhen. The line starts at Longcheng Station in Longgang District and ends at Xinda Station in Dapeng New District, passing through Longgang District, Pingshan District, the length of Dapeng New District is 39.387 km, with 6 underground stations, a design speed of 160 km/h, and is expected to be completed and open to traffic in 2026.
The line connects with the Shenzhen-Dapeng Intercity Railway via Pingshan Station. Upon completion, it will enable direct travel from Longgang and Pingshan to the Dapeng Peninsula in 30 minutes and will connect with multiple rail lines including the Shenzhen-Huizhou Intercity Railway and the Shenzhen-Dapeng Intercity Railway.
In 2025, Anyang Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. supplied the Dapeng branch line of the Shenzhen-Huizhou Intercity Railway with 8,000 sets of P60 type II railway rail fastening systems, 9,200 sets of DZIII-3 railway rail fastening systems, 900 sets of double-layer nonlinear damping fastening systems, and 300 sets of P60 bridge sleeper guard rail fastening systems.
