The Palembang Light Rail Track Laying Project in Indonesia is the first rail project undertaken by China Communications Construction, the Second Highway Engineering Bureau, and the Railway Company in Indonesia. Optimizing the trackbed structure
The trackbed layout was optimized, and the length of the trackbed plate was increased from 2.8 meters to 4.8 meters, which reduced the number of end templates, improved the construction progress, and saved the construction period.
Optimizing the welding rail construction process
The minimum curve radius of the Palembang Light Rail Line in Indonesia is only 80 meters. The project adopts the method of pre-bending the rail end before thermite welding and then welding the long steel rail, which ensures the smoothness of the curve and the quality of thermite welding head, and improves the construction efficiency.
