Changsha Rail Transit Line 5 is the 4th completed and operated subway line of Changsha Rail Transit. The first phase of the line started on November 29, 2015, and was put into trial operation on December 30, 2019, and trial operation started on June 28, 2020.
The total length of the first phase of Changsha Rail Transit Line 5 is 22.5 km, with a total of 18 stations, all of which are underground stations.

Each rail fastening assembly include 2 Pcs Type III spring clips, 2 Pcs heavy spring washers, 2 Pcs flat washers, 1 Pcs under-rail pad, 1 Pcs cast tie plate, 1 Pcs 8# insulation gauge block, 1 Pcs 10# gauge block, 2 Pcs nylon sleeves.
