The Liuzhou-Wuzhou Railway, also known as the Liuzhou-Guangzhou Railway (Liuguang Railway) Liuwu section, is a railway connecting Liuzhou and Wuzhou cities in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It is an important component of the “Pearl River Delta-Southwest Corridor” in the 2016 edition of the “Medium and Long-Term Railway Network Plan” for conventional railways. It is a major project identified in the National 14th Five-Year Plan, serving as a crucial conventional railway corridor connecting Southwest China to the Pearl River Delta in the National Medium and Long-Term Railway Network Plan, and a main freight transport channel between most areas of Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, and Guizhou, as well as central Guangxi, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The Liuzhou-Wuzhou Railway starts at Jinde Station in the Liuzhou Railway Hub and ends at Wuzhou Station. The newly built mainline is 237.8 kilometers long, with a bridge and tunnel ratio of 72.5%. It is a Class I national railway, double-track electrified, passenger and freight railway with 10 stations and a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
