Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-speed Railway, referred to as Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-speed Railway, also known as Zhengzhou-Chongqing Passenger Dedicated Line, is a high-speed railway connecting Zhengzhou City and Chongqing City in Henan Province.
In December 2012, construction of the Wanyu section of the Zhengyu high-speed railway started. On November 28, 2016, the Wanyu section of the Zhengyu high-speed railway opened for operation. On December 1, 2019, the Zhengxiang section of the Zhengyu high-speed railway opened for operation. On June 20, 2022, the Zhengyu high-speed railway will be fully operational.
The Zhengzhou-Chongqing high-speed railway runs from Zhengzhou East Station to Chongqing North Station, with a total length of 1,068 kilometers and 25 stations. The design speed of the Zhengwan section is 350 km/h, and that of the Wanyu section is 250 km/h.
The track laying of the Chongqing section of the Zhengwan high-speed railway used the BLCP-type long-track laying unit for the adjacent two lines for the first time. When the first line was laid and no transfer was required, the long track laying of the adjacent line was carried out, which greatly improved the efficiency of track-laying operations. At present, the long-gauge laying unit is in good use in the Zhengwan high-speed railway project and will be extended to other high-speed railway projects in the future.
