The Manzhouli Railway International Cargo Yard Project is adjacent to the Sino-Russian border, covering an area of 230 hectares, including a wide-gauge yard connected to the Russian railway network, a standard-gauge yard connected to the domestic railway network and a dedicated container station, an express package operation area, and Yilito logistics operation area And the interval railway connecting the Manzhouli Station and the border inspection field with a wide and standard gauge connecting line, the total track lay of the whole project is 46.1 km.
In 2021, China Railway Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd. started the capacity expansion and reconstruction project for the International Cargo Yard of the Manzhouli Railway Port Station. The project includes the construction of a new standard-gauge yard, a wide-gauge yard, a container yard, and an AEI detection station at the Manzhouli Border Inspection Yard.
