Haolebaoji-Ji’an Railway, the original construction project was called “Mengxi-Central China Railway”, referred to as “Menghua Railway”. Electrified railway; it is the strategic transportation channel of China’s “North-South Coal Transportation”. As of September 2019, the Haoji Railway is the longest heavy-haul railway in the world that has been built and opened at one time.
In January, 2012, the railway coal transportation channel project from Mengxi to Central China was approved; in June 2015, the construction of the line started; in August 2019, the line was named Haoji Railway; on September 28, 2019, the entire Haoji Railway was opened to traffic operation.
The Haoji Railway starts from Haolebaoji South Station in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia in the north, and ends at Ji’an Station in Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province. The total length of the line is 1813.544 km, with a total of 77 stations and a design speed of 120 km/h (Pingtian Station to Ji’an Station), 200 km/h (Gangling Station to Pingtian Station), with a designed annual conveying capacity of 200 million tons.
In 2018, Anyang Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. provided Haoji Railway with 18,000 pieces of 50kg/m railway rail fishplates, 54,000 sets of 24*145 fishbolts and 54,000 pcs of M24 single coil spring washers, which were checked and accepted according to the TB/T 2342.4-93 standard.
