The Pearl River Delta Water Resources Allocation Project is one of the 172 major water conservancy projects deployed by the State Council. The total length of the project’s water transmission line is 113.1 km, and the planned total investment is about 35.4 billion yuan. It is a water resource allocation project with the longest water line and the widest water receiving area. On February 3, 2019, the preliminary design of the project was approved by the Ministry of Water Resources, and the total length of the water transmission line was 113.2 km.

On March 18, 2020, the first shield machine “Guangdong No. 1” of the Pearl River Delta Water Resources Allocation Project was officially launched at the Liyuzhou Traffic Tunnel in Shunde, Foshan, marking this national major water conservancy project and the symbol of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The project officially entered the shield construction stage.

In 2020, Anyang Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. will provide M27 segment bolts for the Pearl River Delta Water Resources Allocation Project. The acceptance standards of segment bolts are in accordance with the “Technical Specification for Waterproofing of Underground Engineering” (GB/T50108-2008), “Underground Railway Engineering Construction and Acceptance” Specification” (GB50299-1999), “Code for construction and acceptance of shield tunneling method” (GB50446-2008), “Code for Durability Design of Concrete Structures” (GB/T50476-2008), “Shield Tunnel Segment Bolt Quality Inspection Technology” Standard” (CJJ/T164-2011) and other relevant standards and specifications for precast concrete shield segment bolts.
