The Huaibei-Suzhou-Bengbu Intercity Railway, located in northern Anhui Province, passes through the cities of Huaibei, Suzhou, and Bengbu. The line originates at Huaibei North Station on the Huai-Xiao Intercity Line and connects to the Xuzhou hub via the Zhengzhou-Xuzhou High-Speed Railway. China Railway is planning the Bozhou-Bengbu and Huaibei-Fuyang sections of the Northern Anhui Intercity Railway. The southern end of the line connects to the Bengbu area, connecting with the Beijing-Shanghai and Hefei-Bengbu High-Speed Railways, as well as the planned Ningchu-Bengbu Intercity Railway. The main line is 160.94 km long, with 320.44 km of track laid. The line features six stations: Huaibei North Station, Huaibei West Station, Suzhou West Station, Shuangduiji Station, Guzhen South Station, and Bengbu South Station, as well as two line stations: Gengwan and Sunying. Huaibei North and Bengbu South Stations are existing stations.
China Railway First Bureau Group Co., Ltd. is responsible for track laying for the main and station lines of the Huai-Su-Bengbu Intercity Railway, as well as for turnout installation, renovation of existing stations, and the construction of a track-laying base and a large temporary ballast storage yard. The track-laying base, located near Songzhuang Station in Shuangduiji Town, Suixi County, Huaibei City, Anhui Province, covers an area of 76.868 mu. It is primarily responsible for the replacement, on-site inspection, storage, and laying of 500-meter-long rails, as well as the storage of turnouts, station rails, and fasteners.
In 2025, Anyang Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. supplied China Railway First Bureau Group Co., Ltd. with 642 pairs of 50kg/m Fishplates, 16 pairs of 60kg/m Fishplates, and 24 sets of P60 Fishplates. Each set of standard joint plates includes two fishplates and matching fishbolts. Each set of insulating splints includes two fishplates, matching fishbolts, and insulating material.
