Do You Know How Concrete Sleepers Are Made and Laying In The Railway Construction?
The video shows how concrete sleepers are made and laying in the railway construction.
Concrete sleepers are concrete products used as railway sleepers. A concrete sleeper product made by mixing cement, sand, stone, water, and admixtures in a certain proportion and injecting them into a combined model equipped with steel wires or steel bars, sleeper accessories, and adopting vibration molding or loading vibration molding, steam curing, loosening steel wires or steel bars, cutting sleeper ends, etc. It has the advantages of saving wood, long service life, good track laying quality, low maintenance workload, and low cost. It is significantly superior to wood in applications on high-speed, heavy-duty, seamless, and other railways. According to structure, it is divided into integral type, combined type, and half sleeper; According to the reinforcement method, it is divided into reinforced concrete sleepers and prestressed reinforced concrete sleepers; According to the prestressing method, it is divided into the pre-tensioning method, post-tensioning method, and continuous reinforcement method; Concrete sleepers with 1435mm standard gauge and 600, 762, and 1000mm narrow gauge are classified according to the gauge.
During the transportation of prestressed concrete sleepers, a closed loop process is formed by using a roller table to reduce nonproductive transportation in the workshop during the transportation process, achieving the rhythm and continuity of the sleeper production process.
